First thing in the morning we headed down to the restaurant/lounge building. When we got there Francis took us down to another end of the facility where he pointed out a Giant Forest Hog.
While enjoying him we noticed some elephants feeding on the hillside just opposite our resort. What a treat.
After breakfast we checked out with our packed lunch and headed off to our next stop. Along the way we took pictures of the East Africa Rift Valley
and many other sites along the roadway. Much of it the usual interesting "traffic".
Some of the towns and villages we drove through also had interesting thing to see.
The drive through the potato growing area and up into the hills was lovely.
They grow a lot of sorghum in this area and we saw a lot of it drying on sheets in front of buildings.
Late afternoon we arrived at our new home, Chameleon Hill Resort, overlooking Lake Mutanda. All of the buildings in this resort are vibrantly colored. Not a safari beige or tan to be found. The views of the lake from our cottage are spectacular.
